Welcome to Cheyenne Farm Kennel

Cheyenne  Farm Kennel is a family-owned-and-operated breeding and boarding  facility housed within the same 32-acre farm on which our family lives  and works. We are a large family and each of us has our own idea   of  the perfect dog, reflected in our expansive selection of breeds and  temperaments deliberately crafted over generations.

We  breed Golden Retrievers, both American and English White Cream; Golden  Doodles, both first generation and F1B;  Puggles; Mini Australian Shepherds, Mini Aussie Doodles, and Boxers. All of   our  pups are born and cared for on our property. Puppies are born and   are  available throughout the year.                                                                                  Here  at Cheyenne Farm Kennel we strongly advise you to buy from  professional breeders. If we do not have what you are looking for,  we are in touch with many other breeders and can usually point you in  the right direction! 

TO KEEP IT PEACEFUL FOR OUR GUESTS, MOTHERS, AND PUPPIES; VISITORS ARE BY APPOINTMENT ONLY!

Our boarding facility is on the smaller side, which allows for a personal touch and level of care you simply will not find elsewhere. Because we do live on the property there is always someone here to attend to your family members while they are here. In-floor radiant heat and a near-constant employee presence for the care of pups combine to ensure a comfortable and accommodating environment for even our most anxious of boarding guests. 

To help with your family members separation from you we suggest that you bring pillow, blanket, or bed from home. We also suggest that you bring your own food to aide in the transition of them being away from home.   

We only offer limited drop off and pick up times as we like to keep a quiet and safe environment for our guest and our puppies.                                                                                  Because we are a smaller kennel and we have return clients we suggest you book your reservation early.                                                                                   We are 2 hours from Boston and 1 hour from New Haven, and definitely worth the trip!

All parents of the pups are family owned.  All pups come with first set of shots, worming, Vet exam, as well as a 2 year health guarantee on genetic disorders. We do have waiting lists for our upcoming litters. 

UNLIKE OTHER BREEDERS WE DO NOT TAKE DEPOSITS UNTIL WE HAVE AS PUP FOR YOU. We do require when pups are born for you to come so we can MEET you and you get to see parents and PEEK at the pups, at that time is when paperwork is filled out and you are required to place a NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT on a pup. Pick out of your new family member is not done until after Vet exam on pick up day. 

Because of the chance of cross contamination to our newborn pups we DO NOT allow unscheduled visits, we do however try to take pictures as they grow.
